Leadership and Coaches

Our coaching staff is the best and most experienced in the tidelands communities with over 100 years of combined coaching experience. Our coaches are licensed through the United States Soccer Federation and United Soccer Coaches Association.  They have coaching and playing experience from professional, collegiate, high school, and grass root ranks. Many of our coaches hold leadership positions in their respective professions that were originally fostered by a passion through the love of the game.

Kian Brownlee

Founder

Kian Brownlee brings more than two decades of coaching, academy leadership, and player development experience. He has served as MLS NEXT Director, Director of Coaching, Junior Academy Director, and USL W Coach at Tormenta FC while also coaching collegiately at USC Beaufort and leading programs at USA/Mt. Pleasant for over a decade. Kian holds a USSF B License, United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, and Director of Coaching certification. As a former Liberty University captain, All-Conference player, and the school’s all-time career assists leader, he combines elite playing experience with proven leadership in developing players and coaches alike.


Nick Boegemann

Nick Boegemann brings extensive leadership experience across youth, collegiate, and academy soccer. He currently holds a USSF B License and Advanced National Diploma through United Soccer Coaches. Nick previously served as Junior Academy Director and Tournament Director for Tormenta FC and has also held roles as Director of Coaching & Operations for Tri Cities United SC, Interim Head Coach at Milligan University, Full-Time Staff Coach at VBR Star Soccer Club, and Head Coach within the Virginia Olympic Development Program (ODP). He played collegiately at Lincoln Memorial University & King University. His coaching background spans player development, program development, and team management across multiple levels of the game.


Kevin Fitzsimmons

Originally from Liverpool England, Kevin brings to the Revival over 25 years of coaching expertise.  Before arriving in the United States in 2004 Kevin worked for Manchester United running youth scouting and training camps across the greater UK.  He also served as an assistant for the Thailand U18 National Team.  Since arriving state side Kevin has served as an assistant women's coach at New Haven University, worked as the Head Coach at Kent Boarding School, and was the Director of Coaching for Weston Soccer Club, Connecticut.  He holds the Premier Diploma and Director of Coaching Diploma from United Soccer Coaches Association.  From the English FA he has earned his UEFA B License.  A graduate of Lancaster University with a Sport Science and Coaching Degree Kevin brings tremendous skill in leadership and passion for growing players at all levels of the game.


Ben Weaver

Ben Weaver has served in numerous academy leadership roles throughout his coaching career, including Girls Junior Academy Technical Director and Academy Director positions with Tormenta FC. He also previously led programs at Hoover Soccer Club and served on both ODP Alabama and ODP Region III staff. Ben holds a USSF National C License and US National Youth License and has extensive experience developing players within competitive academy systems. As an Argentina/USA dual national, he also brings valuable international perspective and bilingual communication skills to the club environment.


Chris Myers

Chris Myers brings more than 40 years of coaching experience to FC Revival, working with players from youth through high school levels. Holding both a USSF D License and Advanced National Diploma, Chris has coached competitive teams, led residential soccer camps, and conducted countless private training sessions throughout his career. His decades of experience and commitment to fundamentals, discipline, and player growth make him a valuable mentor within the club. Chris played Division 1 Soccer at University of Vermont.


Jake Toogood

Jake Toogood has experience working within high-level youth development environments, most recently serving as an MLS NEXT Coach with Tormenta FC. Holding both the FAW C License and USSF D License, Jake has worked closely with competitive academy players and focuses on technical development, tactical understanding, and preparing players for the next level of competition.


Jeff Holmen

Jeff Holmen combines decades of coaching experience with an accomplished playing background. A former scholarship player at Georgia State University, Jeff also played internationally in Germany’s Verbandsliga and competed in high-level adult leagues. His coaching experience includes roles with Tormenta FC, Hilton Head Prep, Ambush Soccer Club, and Walton High School. Holding a USSF D License, Jeff brings a strong understanding of player development, team culture, and the long-term growth of young athletes.


Lukas O’Grady

Lukas O’Grady specializes in academy and goalkeeper development with experience coaching at both the youth and high school levels. He currently serves as Program Director and Varsity Boys Soccer Coach at Hilton Head Prep while previously working with Tormenta FC’s Junior Academy and Carolina FC Academy as a Goalkeeper Coach. Lukas combines his coaching experience with academic backgrounds in Health Science, Leadership & Management, and Human Resource Management, helping create a player-first environment focused on growth and accountability. Lukas played Division One Soccer at USC Upstate & Merrimack.


Anthony Espino

Anthony Espino is a USSF C licensed coach with experience coaching in academy, club, and pre-professional environments. He previously served as a full-time staff coach at Tormenta FC and as Assistant Coach for Tormenta FC USL W. In addition, Anthony has led teams as Head Coach at Richmond Hill Soccer Club. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Marketing and minors in Coaching and Sport Management, Anthony focuses on player development, leadership, and creating competitive training environments.


Johnnie Sanchez

Johnnie Sanchez previously served as Statesboro Director and Academy Recruiter for Tormenta FC, where he has developed experience in player recruitment, youth development, and program operations. He holds a degree in Sport Management and is currently pursuing his USSF C License. Johnnie has worked extensively with developing players in competitive academy environments while helping grow the game throughout the local soccer community.
